Affectionately named "Jelly Mosh" was painted on location at Miska Studio Gallery in Cannon Beach. Visiting gallery guests contributed ideas regarding color combinations and commented on the party-like scene that emerged on the page. The entire process of this painting was from a place of pure joy.
Jellyfish swim in bursts; swaying with the current, which doesn’t seem like a super efficient way to get around. This movement is reminiscent to me of an underwater mosh pit... short bouncing bursts of energy seemingly a bit random in direction or purpose, other than for the nature of joy.
