About

About Northwest Artist Greg Scott

Pacific Islander born in Hawaii, Greg spent much of his childhood growing up on Rockaway Beach Bainbridge Island, WA. with views of the Seattle Skyline; Mount Rainier, tidepools, and abundant marine life to observe.

Greg was formally educated in the arts at the Northwest College of Art and Design, majoring in illustration and entertainment art. Greg's favorite subject to illustrate is nature; landscapes, plants, and animals both real and imagined.

"From a young age I would draw characters and vehicles from Star Wars, Nintendo Power Magazine, as well as Bob Ross landscapes. After schooling I am heavily influenced by Andrew Tischler; Greg "Crayola" Simpkins, Guy Aitchison, "CAER 8th", Peter Polach, and WLOP."---Greg

Greg works out of his art studio in Suquamish, WA. surrounded by beautiful green belts where he draws inspiration while closely supervised by his mixed breed poodle "Indiana Jones" who takes Greg on daily adventures along the Puget Sound.
